Holiday destination
Bungalow Park Strandshag is wonderfully close to dunes, fine sandy beaches, and the sea, surrounded by windmills, flower fields, and many excursion options:
The island of Texel is accessible by bike & ferry, and the cities of Alkmaar, Den Helder, and Amsterdam are beautiful destinations for outings.
In Den Helder, you can go deep-sea fishing, visit the climbing forest or the aquarium.
The lovely playground by the lake is an attraction in the park for both big and small children. There is also mini-golf, trampolines, a petting zoo, and a café/restaurant.
Getting there
- Via Amsterdam: take the A9 towards Alkmaar, then at the roundabout (3rd exit) take the N9 towards Den Helder. Continue straight until the "Julianadorp zuid" turnoff, proceed over "Callantsooger Vaart" towards "Strand/Julianadorp Kustrecreatie" until Zanddijk, then turn right. Keep going until a large parking area and the "BillyBob" restaurant appear on the right. Turn here into the holiday park.
- Via Afsluitdijk: head towards Den Helder on the N99 from Den Oever, before Den Helder turn onto the N9 towards Alkmaar/Julianadorp, continue straight until the Julianadorp junction, then follow Schoolweg and the roundabout, always following the signs for Kustrecreatie. At the end of Van Foreestweg, before the dunes, turn left onto Zanddijk. Turn into the holiday park at "BillyBob".

We are a family with 3 children, which is why our holiday home is equipped in such a way that both couples and friends, seniors, and also families with up to four children feel comfortable with us.

Wir fanden ein sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Ferienhaus vor, indem wir uns gleich wohlfühlten.
Die Ausstattung ließ an nichts fehlen, ist zweckmäßig und großzügig bemessen.
Die Betten sind groß und komfortabel. Besonders angenehm ist auch die Sauna. Ein eingezäunten Grundstück mit einer großen, überdachten und windgeschützten Terrasse mit Außenkamin vervollständigen den hochwertigen Zustand des Objektes.
Wir können Ferienhaus Flora für einen entspannten Urlaub nur empfehlen.
Wir kommen bestimmt wieder.

Wir waren zu viert in den Osterferien eine Woche im Haus Flora. Seit bald 40 Jahren reisen wir ein- bis zweimal im Jahr nach Strandslag. Wir nehmen fast jedesmal in der Siedlung ein neues Haus, da immer irgendetwas doch nicht so optimal war.
Mit Haus Flora haben wir nun nicht nur ein durch und durch durchdachtes Haus gefunden, sondern sind auch mit der Gestaltung des Hauses ( Böden, Bäder, Möbel) total happy gewesen. Alles sehr geschmackvoll und liebevoll eingerichtet. Auch die Matratzen waren top. Endlich mal vernünftige Ware und keine zu harten oder weichen Betten!
Wir können das Haus und die Lage im Park nur wärmstens weiterempfehlen.
