There are beautiful cycling routes in the area, but the city center of Groningen is also worth seeing.

Host informationMy beautiful holiday home on the island of De Fokken was built in 2000, it's very comfortable,
I enjoy it as much as possible, often with my family. In spring there is a lot of birdsong.
The tranquility in nature, taking a boat trip and swimming in the lake, truly enjoyable!
The sunsets are especially beautiful.

Wir haben uns auf der Insel sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Ausstattung ist wie beschrieben. Auf ein Boot angewiesen sein ist ungewohnt und des wegen so erholsam. Immer wieder muss man seinen Blick auf den See schweifen lassen. Die Sonnenuntergänge sind großartig. Der Supermarkt auf dem Festland ist gut ausgestattet und beim Italiener kann man hervorragend essen. Ausflugziele wie Groningen und Haren sind schnell erreichbar und sehenswert. Wir haben uns sehr erholt.
