Holiday destination
Peaceful and pastoral would describe the location of this house, on the edge of the little village Radovani.
This is an authentic area of the Istrian heartland where the landscape, friendliness of the locals and relaxed pace of life have remained largely unchanged for centuries.
It is also the village that produces one of the best wines in Istria, “Radovan”, which you can try for yourself at the vineyard.
Getting there
Salzburg-Villach-Ljubljana-Koper-Karawanken tunel-Croatian border Kastel, direction Umag Pula (Istrian Y motorway), exit Baderna-Pazin. Continue right direction Baderna. At the junction, take direction Visnjan. Straight on, through the town Cvitan, then the intersection is where you have to turn left Radovani. You cross the village Radovani straight, it seems as if the village was already finished and after a few hundred meters, our house is on the right side. Clearly visible on Google Earth.

Liebe Frau Vasilij,
wir verbrachten wunderschöne Tage in Radovani und Umgebung. Für das Wetter kann keiner etwas, auch wenn sich der Vermieter dafür entschuldigt hat.
Und weil er uns nicht persönlich in Empfang nehmen konnte, hat er diese Aufgabe einem sehr netten jungen Paar aus dem Ort übertragen, bei dem wir uns auch mit Wein, Grappa, Olivenöl und Eiern eindecken konnten.
Ein kleiner Hinweis für kühlere und nassere Tage: Es wäre hilfreich, wenn nicht nur ein Heizkörper für Wärme sorgen würde.

Das Ferienhaus mit dem Salzwasserpool (nur minimal gesalzt) bietet alles, was man für einen ruhigen Urlaub benötigt. Die abgeschiedene Lage ermöglicht Urlaub mit absoluter Privatsphäre.
Das Haus ist mit allem eingerichtet, was im Alltag benötigt wird.
Die Hausbesitzer kümmern sich liebevoll um alles. Sie sprechen Französisch, aber dank Google- Übersetzer ist dies kein Problem.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und das Meer sind mit dem Auto in ca. 20 Minuten gut zu erreichen.
Es war ein rundum gelungener und erholsamer Urlaub.
