Holiday destination
Sint Maartenszee is located right by the beautiful beach near Alkmaar, Schagen, and Den Helder. Here you'll find the largest flower bulb area in the world. Amsterdam is just 60 km away. The place is easily accessible.
The recreational opportunities are extensive. You can enjoy fantastic cycling, hiking trails, visit museums, shop in the towns of Schagen or Alkmaar, or check out the famous cheese market in Alkmaar. There are many events, such as the Navy Days in Den Helder, Bloeiend Zijpe (a walk through the flower fields), and the West Frisian parade in Schagen.
The children's amusement park "de Goudvis" is also just a few minutes' walk away.
Within the park itself, there are various small playgrounds and tennis courts. A supermarket, mini-golf course, subtropical swimming pool, tennis court, children's play paradise, and two restaurants are all in close proximity.
Getting there
Highway Arnhem-Utrecht-Amsterdam-Schiphol-Haarlem-Alkmaar; from there take the national road N9, direction Den Helder along the North Holland Canal. After about 20 km, you will reach St. Maartenszee.

Haus Iris ist sehr gemütlich und nett eingerichtet. Die Unterkunft war sauber. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich.
