Holiday apartments cheap accommodations in Camplong d'Aude

Honestly, I felt a bit disappointed at first. I expected this to be rustic, but not this much! It was clean, not spotless; dim lights, stuffy rooms, no AC or fan; dry, dusty terraces, patchy WiFi... But charm won, even in the unbearable August heat. The kitchen blends heritage and comfort: old objects and newer appliances, a tiny dishwasher, and a wash machine. Hectically decorated rooms, like a real home, brim with traces of past residents: photos, paintings, documents, books in many languages... I half expected ghosts! Matthias welcomed us warmly, always ensuring our well-being. Camplong d'Aude is tiny: a store, free pool, post, wineries with tastings, occasional concerts. Big shops and food are a short drive away. Perfect to explore the area: Carcassonne, Narbonne, beaches, etc. We'll be back!
