Das Ferienhaus war schön, aber die Lage war für Rollstuhlfahrer völlig ungeeignet. Belvilla sollte Landal Gulpen kontaktieren, doch Gulpen behauptet, niemand von Belvilla habe angerufen. Ich kontaktierte Landal Gulpen selbst und fragte ausdrücklich, ob die schmalen Wege zu den Ferienhäusern rollstuhlgerecht seien. Eine klare Antwort erhielt ich nicht. Trotzdem entschied ich mich, nach Gulpen zu fahren. Dort wurde keinerlei Rücksicht auf Rollstuhlfahrer genommen, es sei denn, man mietete ein barrierefreies Ferienhaus. Niemand informierte uns, und wir hatten keine Wahl. Es war eine Katastrophe. Selbst als wir mit der Verwaltung über eine Lösung sprachen, reagierten wir verärgert. Ich konnte beweisen, dass sie Landal Gulpen kontaktiert hatten, doch sie beharrten darauf, dass dies in ihrem System nicht vermerkt sei. Nachdem ich meinen eigenen Anruf bestätigt hatte, ruderten sie etwas zurück. All das hätte sowohl von Belvilla als auch von Landal Gulpen verhindert werden können. Diese Erfahrung war sehr enttäuschend.
