The quaint village of Premantura is located at the start of the peninsula leading up to Cape Kamenjak. This cape marks the southernmost point of Istria. The peninsula is nearly ten kilometers long and 1.5 kilometers wide. However, the majority of the peninsula is under nature protection. Country paths wind through a rugged landscape dotted with bushes and shrubs, culminating in the towering Porer lighthouse at its end. Around the peninsula, inviting coves with rocky and pebble beaches beckon.
The nearest beach is approximately 1.5 km away. The village center with restaurants and supermarkets is about 200m distant.
A somewhat larger supermarket with a gas station, pharmacy, and ATM is located around 4 km away.
Getting there
From the E751 highway, continue straight on road 5119 at the Pula exit towards Premantura/Medulin until you reach the Banjole roundabout. Then continue towards Prematura for another 5 km.
After the town sign, turn right into the second street at the Pizzeria Kamenjak.
After 150 meters, you will see the house on the right side.
