Fazana, or the Brijuni Islands National Park with its unique flora and fauna, is about a 15-minute drive away. Pula, known as the cultural center of Istria, is a port city.

Holiday destination

You can comfortably reach the beach in Posesi (about 180m away) on foot. The large sandy beach and the harbor promenade of Medulin are easily accessible via the beach promenade. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes, and bars in the area. Medulin also offers a variety of shopping options, with several supermarkets such as Lidl, Plodine, or Konzum. Fresh bread is available from various bakeries. Excursions can be easily started from here. Pula, with its large amphitheater and famous weekly market, can be reached by car in 10-15 minutes. Alternatively, you can take the bus and get to and from Pula without the stress of finding parking (a bus stop is about 5 minutes from the house). If you want to bring your bikes, Medulin offers a number of marked cycling routes. You can also rent a bike locally if needed. You can also quickly start trips to the excursion areas of the Kamenjak National Park with its beautiful beaches or to the bays of Liznjan, Sisan. Getting there

The easiest way to get there from Germany is to take the A8 autobahn Munich Salzburg. Then simply continue onto the A10 Tauern Autobahn towards Villach. From there, head towards Ljubljana, Koper. In Koper, you can either turn towards the Dragonja-Kastel border crossing, or head towards Portoroz and use the small border crossing there. Now drive towards Pula-Medulin.
