Holiday destination

Vodnjan is a small town, about 10 km from Pula. In the past, Vodnjan-Dignano was an important urban center, and today this city is an interesting destination, especially for lovers of art and culture. Walking through the old part of the city, you will notice numerous buildings belonging to different historical periods: Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. The museum is located in a palace built in the year 1300, which belonged to the Bettica family. The church of St Blaz has the highest bell tower in Istria, peaking at 62meters. The Church is located on the Main Square, and allows visitors. Inside, you can see the collection of saint's relics, as well as the Vodnjan's mummies – which are a nature's miracle. The bodies of saints have been preserved even though they haven't been hermAetically treated.
