    Holiday destination
    We are located in a rural location on the island of Hvar, surrounded by nature, on a hill with breathtaking views of the sea and neighboring islands. There is a beautiful natural beach reached via a 250m walk through old vineyards and olive groves. Our nearest neighbor is 200m away and the village of Gromin Dolac just a little further, so you don't need to look any further for a peaceful and quiet vacation. Zavala has a shop and bakery.
    Getting there
    Arriving by car is recommended as Falcon View is located in a remote area of Hvar Island, 3km down a dirt road from Zavala. Due to the nature of the drive, cars with very low ground clearance may not be suitable e.g. sports cars. There is however a newly built concrete driveway directly to the house. If you have any concerns about getting here, please contact us to discuss as a plan can always be made.

    Host informationWith my husband, who is Greek from South Africa, we were looking for a place where our cultures could connect. And we found exactly such a place of intermingling of Slavs and Mediterranean culture on the island of Hvar in Croatia. Here we decided to purchase and subsequently renovate 250-year-old ruins of stone houses in olive groves and vineyards. And a bonus: with an uninterrupted 180-degree view of the Adriatic Sea.
