Casa Mayren sits in Kunj, a quiet village tucked among the hills and forests of inland Istria, just a few minutes from historic Labin. Rabac's beaches are 15–20 minutes away, so you get the best of both worlds: the calm of the countryside and the sea when you want it. The area is great for hiking and cycling through forested trails, stopping at local taverns for a plate of homemade pasta or a glass of Malvazija, and exploring the cultural heritage of Labin's old town.
Getting there
From the Učka Tunnel, take the road toward Labin. Once in Labin, follow signs for Kunj — the village is about 10 minutes from town. Drive through the village. The road is narrow in places, so take it slow. If you get turned around, call us — we'll talk you in.
