Holiday destination
1000 m to the centre of Callantsoog with good shopping (Albert Heijn 365 days a year, 8:00–22:00), cafés, restaurants, old church, beach entrances, market.
Zwanenwater nature reserve within walking distance from town, trips to the Alkmaar cheese market (about 20 minutes by car) and Amsterdam (about 1 hour), wonderful bike rides through the dunes to Den Helder, 15 km, ferry port to Texel. Fields of flowers in spring, days on the beach in summer (and actually at any time of the year)m and the sunset at the newly built “Woest” cafe – everything is possible
Getting there
From the Ruhr area, take the A2 towards Arnhem and then the A12 towards Amsterdam and Uetrecht. At Schiphol Airport, take the A9 towards Alkmaar. From there overland along the canal along the coast, north of Bergen and south of Den Helder. For GPS: Callantsoog, Abbestederweg 26b. Drive into the parking area in front of the barrier. This will then open automatically. Turn left and then take the 2nd right until you reach No. 79. Two parking spaces at the house. To the right of the front door, you will find a mailbox in which there is a key safe. You will receive your access code for the period two weeks before the start of your holiday after receipt of the final payment. All further information and tips, including Wi-Fi code and other keys can be found in a folder in the house.

Die Familie Kühne ist sehr hilfsbereit und zuverlässig. Bereits vor der Anreise hat alles reibungslos geklappt.
Das Ferienhaus ist äußerst gut ausgestattet. Sogar einen Kinderstuhl gibt es dort.
Das Haus ist sehr hell und bietet alles was man braucht für einen erholsamen Urlaub.
Die Betten sind bequem und es gibt genug Stauraum für Gepäck.
In der Küche gibt es mehrere Kaffeemaschinen und es ist auch ein SodaStream vorhanden.
Der Wintergarten ist ein Traum und auch die Terrasse am See. Im Haus gibt es viele spiele-wir hätten nichts mitbringen müssen :-).
Der Park ist sehr ordentlich und hat einen schönen Spielplatz.
Die Nähe zur Nordsee ist Klasse.
Wir waren traurig als wir abreisen mussten und hoffen nochmal wieder zu kommen.

Schönes Haus mit vielen Extras: Wintergarten, Fußbodenheizung, sehr Geschmackvolle Einrichtung. Echt zum Wohlfühlen. Wir sind schon zum 2. Mal hier und kommen gerne wieder.
