Cancellation policy
The following cancellation conditions apply:
Up to the 91st day before arrival, a flat fee of Euro 40.
From the 90th to the 61st day before arrival, 20% of the total price.
From the 60th to the 31st day before arrival, 50% of the total price.
From 30 days before arrival and in case of no-show, 90% of the total price.
In the event of a travel warning from the Foreign Office or an entry restriction by the Italian government for the period you have booked, you can cancel free of charge, with only a flat fee of Euro 40 being charged.

The estate is located near Montaione, approximately 20 km northwest of San Gimignano. In Montaione, there are shopping facilities of all kinds.
Here, in the heart of the triangle formed by the cities of Florence, Pisa, and Siena, you will find the typical Tuscan landscape with gentle hills, cypresses, picturesque olive groves, and vineyards as far as the eye can see.
There are numerous excursion options, for example to San Gimignano and Volterra (about 30 minutes driving time) and to Florence, Pisa, and Siena (about 60 minutes driving time).

Paradies auf Erden. Wir haben dort 10 wunderbare Tage verbracht. Sehr gute Lage, man kann ganz Toskana und sogar darüber hinaus reisen, wenn man möchte. Wir haben zum Beispiel die Cinque Terre besucht. Aber dennoch ist Borgo Il Poggio der Ort, den ich am meisten vermisse. Wir haben uns entschieden, im Haus Ginestra zu wohnen, und es war die richtige Entscheidung. Dieses kleine Haus liegt ein wenig abseits von anderen Besuchern und bietet eine erstaunliche Aussicht. Jeden Abend saßen wir vor dem Haus und schauten dem Sonnenuntergang zu. Es war so romantisch. Und es war dort ruhig. Auf der einen Seite des Hauses hatten wir einen Ententeich und auf der anderen Seite Hühner und Kaninchen. Es war wie ein Besuch bei Oma auf dem Land. Die Besitzer Matteo und Jennifer sind absolut großartige Menschen mit großen Herzen. Wir fühlten uns dort wirklich warmherzig und willkommen. Das Haus selbst hatte ein schönes, etwas altes Flair, aber es war so italienisch. Ein Vorteil war, dass die Fenster Fliegengitter hatten, um Insekten fernzuhalten. Alles, was wir brauchten, war vorhanden. Man kann ein Frühstück im Restaurant bestellen, wenn man möchte. Es gibt verschiedene Käsesorten und Schinken, auch Eier und das, was uns am meisten gefiel – die Kuchen... mmmmm. Wir spielten Tennis und schwammen im großen Pool. Nicht zu überfüllt, still und angenehm. Man kann auch Basketball spielen oder das Fitnessstudio nutzen. Alles, was man jemals braucht, ist für einen da. Man sollte wissen, dass dies kein Hotel ist, sondern ein Bauernhof. Viele Menschen arbeiten dort im Weinberg und der Ort hat eigene Verkostungsweine. Sie stellen auch ein Olivenöl her, das man ebenfalls kaufen kann. Man muss ihnen seine Ankunfts- und Abfahrtszeiten mitteilen, da Jennifer und Matteo viel zu tun haben und nicht immer anwesend sind. Ich kann einen Besuch dieses Ortes nur wärmstens empfehlen und wünsche Ihnen einen wunderbaren Aufenthalt in der herrlichen Toskana!

Borgo Il Poggio ist wirklich etwas Besonderes. Eingebettet zwischen sanften Hügeln und Olivenbäumen bietet es atemberaubende Ausblicke, eine friedliche Atmosphäre und den authentischen Charme, von dem man träumt, wenn man an die Toskana denkt.
Die Unterkunft selbst ist wunderschön – rustikal, aber dennoch komfortabel, mit jedem Detail, das die Sorgfalt und Tradition der Familie widerspiegelt, die sie liebevoll gepflegt hat. Die Gastgeber waren warmherzig, einladend und ließen uns fühlen, dass wir Teil der Geschichte sind, nicht nur Besucher.
Wir haben hier etwas Unvergessliches erlebt – hier habe ich dem Mann meiner Träume das Ja-Wort gegeben – und ich hätte mir keinen bedeutungsvolleren Ort vorstellen können. Egal, ob Sie sich entspannen, wieder verbinden oder einen Meilenstein feiern möchten, Borgo Il Poggio hat die Fähigkeit, Momente zeitlos erscheinen zu lassen.
Ich kann es kaum erwarten, eines Tages zurückzukehren. Sehr empfehlenswert.
