It is important to always be informed about the current situation. We follow the announcements of international and national governments and health authorities. Please also inform yourself. Here are some tips for the travel planning:

1. Please note that Traum-Ferienwohnungen is a mediation platform to connect hosts and vacationers. Bookings are done directly with the hosts. The hosts are the contracting party of the booking.

2. If you have any questions regarding a booking or inquiry, please contact the host directly. You can find the contact details in the exposé.

3. If you would like to change your booking because you are not able to travel now, please contact your host directly as well. You both can clarify how to deal with this special situation.

Description

This charming, comfortable holiday apartment is situated at the front, on the ground floor of a characteristic house in the centre of Bakkum. There is seating at the front of the holiday apartment so you can enjoy the nice weather.

The location is favourable, next to the village square and at a stone's thrown from the forest and the dune area where you can take great bike rides. With the bike, you can reach the beach of Castricum aan Zee in fifteen minutes. There are various restaurants only 100 metres away.

Holiday destination

Located at a small town centre with a bar and restaurants at walking distance. Within a few kilometers there is a forest, dunes and the beach. At walking distance there is the railway station with a direct connection to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. Within 7 kilometers there is the beachtown of Egmond.

Getting there

Coming from Amsterdam or from Alkmaar on the highway A9, you'll take exit 10 (Castricum/Uitgeest). Follow directions Castricum (N203). Turn left to Castricum (N513). Take the first roundabout straight on (first exit). On the second roundabout, take the 3rd exit (to the left) to enter Bakkum. Where the road takes a left turn, you go straight ahead. After 300 meters the house is at the right side.

Die Ferienwohnung hat uns sehr gut gafallen. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und schön eingerichtet.

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in Bakkum. Jaap und Diny Veldt waren sehr hilfsbereit und super nett. Wir haben uns in Bakkums Voorhuisje sehr wohl gefühlt und die Zeit genossen. Von Bakkum aus haben wir schöne Radtouren gemacht oder sind vom nahegelegenen Bahnhof in Castricum mit dem Zug unterwegs gewesen.

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Zeit in Nordholland. Das Bakkums Voorhuisje ist gemütlich und sauber. Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und entgegenkommend.
Die Lage ist ideal, um von dort Ausflüge mit dem Fahrrad zu unternehmen: ob es durch die wunderschöne Wald- und Dünenlandschaft geht, oder zu den umliegenden größeren Städten radeln möchte - alles sehr gut möglich, auch durch die gute Beschilderung der holländischen Radwege.
Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und diverse nette Cafes in Castricum, also in nächster Nähe, haben wir sehr gut mit unseren Rädern erreicht.
Alles in allem: einfach nur gut und sehr zu empfehlen.
