Casa Nova is located about 6 km from the sea with beautiful natural beaches. The small town of Cecina, in close proximity, offers many shopping opportunities, restaurants, bars, and culture. Florence, Volterra, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, etc., are popular destinations for excursions. In the Tuscan hills, there are small charming villages with well-known wineries that invite you to tastings. The pine-forest-lined coast offers many opportunities for hiking and cycling.
Getting there
Directions from Brenner Toll Station:
- Take the highway through Bologna to Florence
- Exit at Florence/Signa, continue onto the expressway FI-PI-LI
- From the FI-PI-LI, take the highway towards Grosseto-Rome
- Exit at Cecina Nord, turn right towards Volterra onto SR 68
After about 4 km, on the right side, there is a farmhouse with a bar, and opposite on the left side, there is a bus stop next to a large cypress tree. Here, turn left onto the driveway to the house (sign "Fattoria La Regula"). The first property on the right side with parking is Casa Nova.

Host informationMy personal journey of discovery in TUSCANY began many years ago in Cecina, or rather Riparbella, and that's why I am still here today. Casa Nova, a typical Tuscan farmhouse built in 1910, already surrounded by the sunny yellow of vineyards and olive groves back then, spoke to me in a very special way. For 27 years, I have been welcoming my guests at Casa Nova.

Schon bei meinem ersten Besuch 2005 hab ich mich in diesen wundervollen Platz verliebt. Seitdem komme ich immer wieder zurück, fast magisch angezogen. Romantisch gelegen in den sanften Hügeln mit weitem Blick, umgeben von einem zauberhaft angelegten Garten der immer wieder zum verweilen einlädt. Duftende Blumengrüße überall, ein Pinienwald der Schatten spendet. Ein märchenhaftes Anwesen zum Entspannen, Träumen und Wohlfühlen, die Umgebung lädt ein zum Wandern, Radfahren und Schwimmen. Die Ferienwohnungen so geschmackvoll und liebevoll ausgestattet. Liebe Tina, ich freue mich jetzt schon auf den nächsten Kaffee mit Dir auf der Terrasse.

Liebe Tina, wir kommen nun schon das zehnte Jahr in Dein wunderschönes Domizil! Das Haus liegt einfach traumhaft schön in den Olivenhainen, der große Garten, den Du weiterhin mit viel Liebe zum Detail am Blühen und Wachsen hältst, hat uns wieder viele gemütliche und sonnige Stunden beschert. Unsere Lieblingswohnung mit Blick auf das Vale di Cecina ist wie immer toll gewesen und unsere netten Abende unter der Pergola werden uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Übrigens, die Weinverkostung im Weingut nebenan La Regula war großartig! Lass es dir gut gehen und bis Oktober 2018!! Vielen Dank für alles und tanti saluti! Tina&Wolfgang
