This comfortable Tuscan villa is located about 40 km south of Florence on a large, completely fenced private property with views over gentle hills adorned with typical Tuscan vegetation - cypresses, grapevines, olive trees.
We are here in Casentino, a forest-rich region that has not yet been "discovered" by tourism - here one experiences pure Tuscany, with its inhabitants who are friendly and welcoming to strangers, trying to communicate with them (of course with the help of hands and feet).
The view sweeps across to the directly opposite "Castello di Romena," the oldest castle in Casentino from the second half of the 10th century, and the very well-preserved "Castello di Poppi," the widely visible castle of the Conti Guidi from the 13th century, both definitely worth a visit.
All the small romantic villages of the Casentino valley are within a few minutes' reach; visit the pretty little town of Pratovecchio just 4 km away, the picturesque old town of Poppi with its centuries-old castle, or take a trip to Stia, Bibbiena, or Rassina.
In Arezzo, every first Saturday and Sunday of the month there is a big "festival" that encompasses the entire old town, one of the largest Italian antique markets takes place here and although not everything offered here is "antique," the atmosphere is still captivating: hundreds of exhibitors have their stands in the old alleys and offer their goods - you should not miss a visit there.
For art lovers, Florence, Siena, Assisi, Cortona, Perugia are a "must" - all reachable within 1 to 2 hours by car.
So, you are in the heart of Tuscany with endless possibilities to have and enjoy art and culture close by.

At a distance of 2 km, you can buy bread, sausage, ham, cheese, and there is also a cafe-bar with snacks; at 4 km away is the nearest village Pratovecchio with all kinds of shops, baker, supermarket, restaurant, pizzeria, cafe, pharmacy, bank, post office, and everything you need, we will send you detailed information after your booking along with the directions.

Wunderbares Haus und großartiger Vermieter. Es sieht wirklich genauso aus wie auf den Fotos und ist einfach ein Traum. Wir haben uns im Oktober sehr willkommen gefühlt. Unsere drei Kinder und unser Hund waren ebenfalls sehr zufrieden. Es ist wie eine Traumwelt, aus der man nicht aufwachen möchte. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Gianni und sein Sohn haben uns mehr als herzlich empfangen und machen einem den Aufenthalt unvergesslich. Vielen Dank für alles und Grüße aus Deutschland ??_x000D_
