Holiday destination
Westkapelle is located right by the sea, nestled among the beach, dyke, dunes, a small lake/creek, and a wooded area to the south of the town.
A hiking trail is marked around the lake, and anglers can find their favorite spot. Right at the town center, there is a small beach at the spot where the dyke was breached in 1944.
To the south of the town begins the long beach that stretches all the way to Vlissingen! Approximately 12 km of sandy beach extend there, where you can take endless walks along the shore. Even during a hefty southwest storm, this beach route is bustling, and not just on the beach itself.
You can enjoy a visit to various beach pavilions, offering a fantastic view of the sea.
Getting there
You can arrive and depart every day. Arrival from 4:00 PM (or upon request). Departure by 10:00 AM (or upon request).
During the high season (July 6, 2019, to August 24, 2019), you can only arrive and depart on Saturdays.
