Holiday destination
Welcome. Our vacation house is in Contra near Locarno, facing the Lago Maggiore, the Ticino and the famous Versasca Valley, with the James Bond Dam. Here you have the most sunny days of Swizzerland. Even in autumn, winter and early spring you often have sunny blue skies and mild days optimal for hiking. Ticino slopes are steep and like many houses, the Casa can only be reached via 85 stairs (down). A daily exercise to keep up your fitness.

Wir hatten die untere Wohnung und deshalb 103 Stufen bis zur Straße ,eine sehr große Herausforderung zumal ich vor 3 Monaten ein neues Kniegelenk bekommen habe.Für ältere Menschen sind die Wohnungen meiner Meinung nach nicht so toll.
Die Nachbarn waren teilweise sehr unfreundlich, wenn man nur kurz an der Straße geparkt hat .
Der Stellplatz und die Garage sind etwas klein,nicht geeignet für einen SUV.
Die Wohnung war ausreichend groß für uns,in der Küche war alles an Geräten was man braucht.Das Bad war schön und neu,aber die Toilette müsste um 90 Grad gedreht werden.
Im Schlafzimmer hat uns gestört das die alten Küchenschränke als Kleiderschrank verbaut waren.Da könnte man noch etwas nachbessern.
Die Gegend ist wunderschön und hat einiges wett gemacht!

Wir wohnten 14 Tage in der kleineren FeWo. Das Haus ist geschmackvoll und ausreichend mit benötigten Utensilien ausgestattet. Beachten: die Zufahrt führt über eine 4,4 km lange Serpentinenstraße, die nur mit hoher Konzentration zu befahren ist! Wer täglich im See baden möchte, sollte dies bedenken. Auch die 85 Stufen sind nicht für jedermann zu bewältigen: Kinderwagen, Personen mit Handicap, ältere Menschen. Natürlich wird man mit einem schönen Ausblick belohnt, aber der ist auch redlich verdient! Auch wichtig: vor der Anreise mit der Vermieterin die Parkplatzsituation klären! Wir wussten dort oben nicht wohin mit dem Auto und mussten erst telefonieren - nicht lustig im Ausland und entstehenden Kosten! Für Familie mit Kind kl. FEWO ungünstiger Zimmerschnitt! Nur Hinweis, keine Beschwerde.
