Other recreational opportunities
You have the opportunity to take boat trips to the other islands as well as seal watching tours. Other attractions include the spectacular exercises with the old lifeboat that take place regularly during the summer months, as well as the large bonfires on the beach. The tractor rides along the beach are also interesting. Additionally, various markets and other events are held in the respective villages during the summer months. Holiday destination
The island is characterized by its magnificent nature with forests, dunes, heathlands, and of course, the Wadden Sea. It has an approximately 26 km long sandy beach.
The holiday home is located in the bungalow area Roosduinen, close to the outdoor swimming pool at the edge of the forest. The beach is about a 20-30 minute walk away, and the town of Ballum, with various shopping facilities, bicycle rental, as well as a doctor and dentist, is about 10 minutes away. There is a laundromat at the outdoor pool. The campsite with playgrounds and riding stables is about 1 km away.
Getting there
The bungalow Apollo is located on the North Sea island of Ameland and can be reached in about 45 minutes by ferry from Holwerd. Please book this in advance at www.npd.nl!

Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen. Das Ferienhaus ist super ausgestattet. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Gegend und hat einen sehr großen Garten.
Ballum ist einfach ein bezaubernder kleiner Ort. Wir kommen gern wieder. Der Service von Frau Dietze war vorbildlich.
