Bettmeralp is a car-free resort!
Children's playground, outdoor tennis courts and - in winter months - an outdoor ice rink - are in striking distance.
In winter, the ski slopes are close-by - go straight out of bed and onto your skis in front of chalet Bellavista!
In summer, you can choose from mulitiple safe hiking trails and mountainbike routes to explore the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.
And after an active day in alpine nature, enjoy a long evening sun on the large veranda!
The center of Bettmeralp as well as shopping facilities, restaurants, and the sports center "Bachtla" (indoor swimming pool with free entrance for our guests, tennis, badminton, table tennis) can be reached within 5 minutes.
Getting there
You can travel by train from Geneva, Zürich, Milano or Germany to Brig without changing trains. In Brig you change to the regional train MGB to Betten (approximately 12 km). At the valley station Betten you change to the cable cabin and gently hover to Bettmeralp. Be sure to book your luggage through to Bettmeralp!
By car you drive to Betten Talstation (please enter "Grengiols Guldersand" into your GPS device). There you can park your car on the official parking and travel high up to car-free Bettmeralp in the large cable-cabin.
You can have your luggage taken right to your door by a taxi (in winter on skidoos and caterpillars, in summer in electromobiles). You can also walk from the cable care station to the chalet in 15-20 minutes.
