The park features various natural playgrounds and a large meadow where children can play football and frolic. Adjacent to the park is a (public) swimming lake.
The park boasts an excellent restaurant with a spacious terrace where you can dine and relax on beautiful days. The restaurant also has two separate rooms that you can reserve for private events.
In the historic building of the authentic mill, there is an ice cream parlor where you can choose from many varieties and flavors of traditional ice cream.

Sailing, cycling, hiking: there is a lot to do around Uitgeestermeer! Cities such as Alkmaar, Zaandam, Haarlem, and Amsterdam are also within a maximum 30-minute drive. For a day at the beach, you can head to Castricum aan Zee, Wijk aan Zee, and Egmond aan Zee. Museums like the Zaanse Schans, the archaeological center 'Huis van Hilde', and the Bunker Museum in IJmuiden are definitely worth a visit.
