Holiday destination

Porec is often referred to as the capital of Croatian tourism. The town is situated on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula. Ever since the Roman era, the town has played an important role in the region for reasons such as its position, agricultural resources and religious dominance. The Euphrasius basilica dating from the 5th century A.D. is the most impressive and famous monument in Porec. It has been a UNESCO world heritage site since 1997. The basilica is one of the best preserved Byzantine complexes in Europe. It was Bishop Euphrasius who ordered a basilica to be built on an older one from the 3rd century A.D. The interior of the church is relatively simple in contrast to the magnificence of its exterior. Do not miss the concerts of classical music during the summer.

Von uns wie immer 10 Sterne. Wir sind nun zum 4. Mal bei Sanja und nächstes Jahr gern wieder. Alles ist absolut sauber. Sanja,ihre Jungs und Natascha sind mega lieb. Wir fühlen uns immer wie zu Hause. Ach ja,vielen Dank für den " VIP"- Parkplatz.
