Directions from Leer-Nieuweschans (border area)
Take road number A7 towards Groningen, at the Europaplein in Groningen take the exit for Winsum/Bedum and then stop at Aduard. Continue to Buitenpost and then take the exit for Dokkum. From Dokkum follow the signs for Holwerd – Ameland.
