Holiday destination
The house is located in an idyllic spot on the hillside inside a beautiful garden full of camellia, roses, hydrangea and oleander and within five minutes, walking distance of the village of Caviano and a small beach on the lake.
From the house, you can enjoy the great view over the lake and the surrounding mountains to Italy. The ancient villages Sant´Abbondio, and Caviano belong to the most beautiful villages on the lake.
Caviano has a small shop, where you can buy groceries and basic things. By car, you can reach Italy for a shopping tour in no time.
The environment of the house is very quiet, just the railway line which connects the north and south can occasionally make a little noise

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in Caviano. Das Haus ist zweckmäßig eingerichtet, der Wohnbereich dürfte gerne ein wenig komfortabler sein. Der Blick vom Balkon auf den See ist herrlich, allerdings wird es am Nachmittag, wenn die Sonne dann auf den Balkon scheint sehr heiß, und auch der Wohnbereich heizt sich durch die Glasfront bei Hitze stark auf. Hier wäre eine Markise unbedingt empfehlenswert.
Ansonsten waren wir zufrieden.

Das Ferienhaus war funktional und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Küche und Bad waren gut. Warmwasser und Heizung waren immer verfügbar.
