Cancellation policy
In the event of a cancellation, we reserve the right to charge a fee for lost costs:
- For cancellations up to 45 days before the start of the rental period: 50% of the agreed rental price
- For cancellations from 44 to 30 days before the start of the rental period: 80% of the agreed rental price
- For cancellations from 29 days before the start of the rental period: 100% of the agreed rental price
The renter has the right to prove that the lessor incurred less damage. The renter may nominate a replacement tenant willing to enter into the existing contract in their stead upon withdrawal from the agreement. The lessor may object to the entry of the third party if they appear to be financially or personally unreliable. If a third party enters into the rental contract, they and the previous renter are jointly and severally liable to the lessor for the rent and any additional costs arising from the entry of the third party. The agent is obliged to act in good faith to re-let an unoccupied property and must offset any savings against the cancellation fees claimed by them, amounting to €60.
If a cancellation is made for a period that has already been rebooked, in this case, the full rent will be retained and not treated according to the above scale. The deposit and cleaning fee will be refunded to the renter.
The conclusion of travel cancellation insurance is recommended for the renter!
