The surroundingarea is a beautiful and green region. The nearest beach is situated three miles from the artistic and lovely village Bergen.
Bergen has a lot of monuments and beautiful dunes and woods. You can reach the beach by bike. Bergen is situated five kilometers from Alkmaar.
Alkmaar is a beautiful city and has got interesting shops. In the summertime there is the cheesemarket on friday.

Wir durften eine wunderschöne Ferienwoche im Reihenhaus der Familie Kramers verbringen. Das Haus war komplett ausgestattet, gemütlich und stilvoll eingerichtet, bequem im Wohn- und Schlafbereich, mit schönem Garten mit Wasseranstoss und Spielboot. Die Küche war ideal mit Ausrüstung und Verbrauchsmaterial. Es hatte kostenlose Leihräder, Liegestühle und fürs Schlechtwetter ein AppleTV mit Netflix und DVD. Das Haus war sauber gereinigt, die Waschmaschine mit Tumbler war Gold wert. Auch die Nachbarn waren nett und interessiert und das Dorfzentrum von Bergen in fünf Velominuten erreichbar. Dank der guten Randlage kommt man schnell nach Alkmaar, Schoorl oder dann ans Strandbad in Bergen an Zee. Mit dem kleinen bescheidenen Bad und separatem WC kommt man auch rasch zurecht. Zusammenfassend nur die beste Empfehlung.
