Near the Horizon park, there is a supermarket (about 400 m) that is open during the season. There you can buy fresh rolls and your newspaper in the morning. The extensive dune landscape and the adjacent nature reserve "De Vroongronden" are perfect for beautiful hiking and cycling trips, for example, to the charming old town of Burgh-Haamstede.
The Brouwersdam (Grevelingenmeer) with its fantastic conditions for all kinds of water sports (kite surfing, windsurfing, sailing, land sailing, kite buggy, fishing, diving) is about a 10-minute drive away.
