Holiday destination

Pula - the largest city in Istria, located near the peninsula itself. Since Roman times, Pula has been the administrative center of the region. Pula is a mysterious and unusual city in Croatia. First of all, because of its rich history, which strongly influenced architecture, culture and tradition. The arena-amphitheatre, built during the reign of Vespasian - one of the largest colosseums, has been preserved to this day. Today, it hosts annual festivals, and the image of the amphitheater adorns more than half of the postcards and tourist catalogs in Croatia. There are several remains from the Roman period that have been preserved: the forum where musical groups now perform, the Sergius Arch, which was later incorporated into the city gates, the Temple of Augustus.
