Cancellation policy
Cancellation Policy Article 5. Cancellation
5.1 We recommend that you take out your own travel cancellation insurance.
5.2 In the event of a cancellation, the costs for the agreed part of the total rent will be charged after the rental agreement has been signed. Upon signing the rental agreement, the first part of the total rent must be paid within 2 weeks. The second half of the total rent must be paid 6 weeks before the start of the rental period. In case of cancellation within one month before the start of the rental period, the costs amount to 75% of the total rent.
5.3 If the rental agreement is terminated by the tenant.
In the event of termination by the tenant, or if the tenant leaves the rental property prematurely, or if the tenant does not move into the rental property by 18:00 on the day the rental period begins, the tenant pays the entire rent.

Holiday destination
Holiday home Eureka 8 is situated in a beautifully maintained bungalow park, known for its ambiance, spaciousness, and park-like vegetation. The park is peaceful and child-friendly. "Eureka 8" is ideally located close to the supermarket (200m), bus stop (400m), the heated indoor swimming pool (300m) with sauna, tennis courts, mini-golf, bicycle rental, forest "het Wildrijk," and 1 km from the recreational park "De Goudvis". Centrally located in relation to Alkmaar, Schagen, Callantsoog, Haarlem, Hoorn, Amsterdam, and the island of Texel.
Getting there
From Utrecht towards Amsterdam (A12 changes into A2). Follow the signs for Schiphol Airport, Amstelveen, Haarlem (A9) until Alkmaar. The highway ends here. Around Alkmaar (West) towards Heiloo, Den Helder. Drive along the N9 next to the NH-canal until St. Maartensvlotbrug. Turn left towards St. Maartenszee. First intersection turn left. You are now on Belkmerweg. Eureka is located after 300 meters on the left side.

Host informationHello, my name is Carina Laan. For many years, my bungalow has been a popular holiday destination for all those who love the beach of Sint Maartenszee and Callantsoog with its beautiful hinterland. Now that I have more time and miss the direct contact with my guests, I have decided to rent out the bungalow myself again. So no more intermediaries and/or commissions! It means that I have to start from scratch again and rebuild my accumulated reviews (all very positive). I have full confidence in this. I live just around the corner. Wir hatten zu viert plus Hund einen tollen Aufenthalt in diesem Haus.
Die Vermieterin war absolut top, sehr nett und hilfsbereit.
Es war sogar ein mobiler Zaun vorhanden um den Garten weitgehend hundesicher zu machen.
Der Garten ist schön groß so dass man auch mal mit den Kindern Ball spielen kann oder ähnliches.
Es war alles sehr sauber und ansprechend.
Das Haus liegt sehr nah am Parkeingang, so dass man auch schnell mal eben zum Müll oder Sparmarkt geflitzt ist.
Einzig eine Waschmaschine im Haus wäre noch das Sahnehäubchen gewesen aber ansonsten waren wir sehr zufrieden.

Zwei Wochen ohne Waschmaschine sind bei vier Personen kein Vergnügen – das verstehe ich vollkommen. Glücklicherweise gibt es in unmittelbarer Nähe vier Möglichkeiten zum Wäschewaschen, und wir hatten dies ja auch schon vor Ihrer Ankunft besprochen. Dennoch kann ich Ihren Standpunkt absolut nachvollziehen. Sollten Sie einmal die Gelegenheit haben, uns wieder zu besuchen, sind Sie im „Eureka 8“ jederzeit herzlich willkommen. Lieber Sebastian, vielen Dank für deine positive Bewertung! Es ist schön zu hören, dass du deinen Aufenthalt so genossen hast und der Bungalow deine Erwartungen erfüllt hat.
Das war mir eigentlich sofort aufgefallen, als ich den Bungalow betreten hatte: Du hattest ihn in einem wirklich SUPER Zustand hinterlassen. Vielen Dank dafür – das war wirklich klasse.
