Holiday destination
The vacation home is situated at an altitude of 1200m in the mountains and is located in a small and very quiet village, far away from the hustle and bustle. The surrounding area offers impressive nature and is an ideal starting point for hiking, mountain biking and, in winter, snowshoeing or skiing in Bosco Gurin.
The Maggia (river) in the valley offers beautiful opportunities for swimming.
Getting there
The route to Piano di Campo can be covered both by car and by bus. If you want to travel by bus, please note that there are only a few daily bus connections.
If you are traveling by car, drive through the Maggia Valley to Cevio. In Cevio, head towards Bosco Gurin, Cimalmotto. Follow the winding road to Cerentino. At the crossroads head towards Cimalmotto. There is only one road. Once in Piano di Campo, the parking lot is in the center of the village, near the bus stop. To get to the house, follow the road to the bend, down the stairs, first house. It is labeled Casa Viola.
