Holiday destination
With 4900 residents, Umag is one of Croatia's typical small towns. Its primary income sources are viticulture in the region, and tourism. Holidaymakers like Umag because of the various camping, sports and leisure opportunities, among other things. Umag is also known for its wine 'Malvazija'. Despite its small population, the town centre is very lively during the summer. Internationally, Umag is famous for the tennis tournament 'ATP Croatian Open" organised by Niki Pilic.
Getting there
If you come from the west, you'll drive through Slovenia. Leave the A1 in Koper by making a right turn (watch for the signpost Pula Porec - HR) and continue on the E751 Smarska Cesta towards the Croatian border and to Kastel. Kastel (Castel Venere) is the first village after the border. 400m after crossing the border you'll want to turn left (signpost Kastel - Castel Venere). In Kastel, follow the signposting to Umag. After 350m, turn right at the chapel. You'll see the street name 'Vizinada', your destination. After approx. 50m you'll see your holiday residence on the right. Enjoy your holiday in our house. Villa Ana is located approx. 2 km from the border.

We were here for a week and found everything clean and well equipped for a comfortable stay. Kids enjoyed pool and magic tricks that our wonderful host prepared. AC cools the whole area nicely.
