Holiday destination
The property's location is excellent, just a short drive away from the town of Cecina with its shops for the basic necessities, supermarkets, all kinds of restaurants and the characteristic weekly market that snakes throughout the streets of the centre every Tuesday morning – it's one of the largest in Tuscany, and its stands offer everything from clothes to shoes to fresh produce. All the main tourist centres in Tuscany can be reached very easily.
Pisa and its important airport (the main airport in Tuscany) are just a 30-minute car ride away. Volterra and San Gimignano are also about 30 minutes away, while Florence and Siena can be reached in about an hour.

We are a group of 18 master students, who survived their finals and wanted to have the best vacation! and we did! the house is amazing, the pictures do not promise to much - we had everything we needed. Mister Ivano (the owner) and Gabriella (the assistent, she was there when we arrived, to explain everything) were great, when we asked them for advice (where to go to dinner, or book a tennis court) they helped immediately and they made a reservation for us right away.
As the garden is not totally finished, there were some workers there but this wasn't bothering us at all, as we knew it in advance & we were on a sightseeing tour.
We all can only recommend to book this house, and enjoy the time in tuscany.
