Holiday home Albatros is located in the Baltic Sea park Glowe in the north-east of the island of Rügen, directly at the entrance to the Schaabe. The Baltic Sea is east of Glowe, the water body 'Großer Jasmunder Bodden' lies to the west. The approx. 8 km-long, wide sandy beach -many people say it is Rügen's most beautiful beach- also begins near Glowe.
On the adjacent property there's a nice playground for toddlers. The bike rental shop is a short walk away, the 8-km long, fine sandy beach is also close by.
Getting there
The state-approved health resort Glowe lies in the north of the island of Rügen, at the Schaabe, with the Baltic Sea to the east and the water body Großer Jasmunder Bodden to the west.
Coming from Stralsund, you can reach Glowe via the B96. (Stralsund-Altefähr-Samtens-Bergen-Lietzow-Sargard). Follow the L30 to Glowe. About 500m after passing the Glow town sign (with a large sign saying "Rügen Radio" and the thatched houses "am Kliffhörn" on the right) turn left at the former red fire station onto the street Am Süßling / Zum Pappelwald, make another left turn after 100m and you'll see the Baltic Sea park Glowe, Espenweg.

Wir hatten einen zauberhaften Urlaub im Haus Albatros. Wir waren 6 Erwachsene und 3 Kinder. Durch die 3 Bäder hat sich alles gut verteilt. Es war sehr sauber als wir ankamen und es stand sogar ein kleiner Ostergruß da . Es gab ausreichend Geschirr. Wir haben die Sauna und den Hot pot gegen Gebühr genutzt. Und können auch nichts schlechtes über den Hausmeister sagen (wegen früherer Bewertungen). Ich gebe zu dass die Lösung mit den 2 Euro für die Waschmaschine nicht ideal ist, da kein Waschgang genau 2 h dauert. Da empfehle ich eine andere Lösung zu finden .
Wir haben ein Elektro-Auto und konnten gegen Absprache mit den Besitzern dort gegen Gebühr laden. Das war fantastisch und gibt einen extra Punkt.
Binz, Prora, der Baumwipfel Pfad und der Königsstuhl alles in weniger als 25 min mit dem Auto zu erreichen und in 10 min ist man auch zu Fuß an einem schönen Strand.
Wir kommen gerne wieder !
