Well-equipped for a comfortable stay for up to four guests, it offers a modern kitchen, walk-in shower, private terrace, and thoughtful design touches for a relaxed holiday experience.
Swallows nest under the roof of the house every year. They have our explicit permission to build their nests there, and they are also strictly protected by law. The young swallows do, however, make a considerable mess of the gable windowsills, but this is unavoidable during the breeding season if you don't want to disturb the birds, which are said to bring good luck. So please don't put your bedding on the windowsill to air out, but instead enjoy the lively chirping in the mornings.
Tip: Take some time to watch the parent swallows hunting for insects. With luck, you might even spot our bat. We still don't know where it lives, but it comes around regularly in the evenings.
Some sparrows have also learned to roost on the wires meant to discourage swallows from nesting above doors. After a few days, they get used to people walking underneath them in the evenings and no longer flee immediately. Try quietly checking above your front doors at night.
