Holiday destination
Makkum is located directly at the Ijsselmeer and with its promenade, it invites you to relax. Diverse comfortable cafés invite you to linger and relax. The boutiques offer abundant shopping possibilities. Extensive water sport activities (surfing, sailing, kite-sufing with relevant training and rental opportunities) offer numerous possibilities for leisure activities.
Furthermore, bicycles, "Kettcars", pedal boats and motor boats can be hired on site.
Getting there
Arrival from Osnabrück/Bremen as well as the direction of the Ruhr area: You need to take the A31 until Meppen. Then you change to the A37. After that you take the A32 to Heerenveen. From there you take the A7 to Sneek/Amsterdam until you reach the exit Makkum. At the fourth roundabout you go to the Villapark Makkumerstrand. It takes you 2h20min from Osnabrück.

Wir hatten einen perfekten Urlaub in dem tollen Haus. Besonders möchten wir das gepflegte und saubere Interieur hervorheben. Das Haus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden was man braucht und die Ausstattung ist in ordentlicher Qualität was man nicht zu oft in Ferienhäusern antrifft. Wir haben uns mit unserem Hund aufgrund des etwas kaltem Wetter recht viel im Haus aufgehalten. Mit der Sauna war es einfach herrlich. Man kann sich super entspannen.
Aufgrund der Lage in letzter Reihe am Ende der Sackgasse findet man wunderbare Ruhe. Am eigenen Steg kann man bei Sonnenschein direkt in die Natur schauen. Wir haben sogar einen Eisvogel beobachten können.
Der Kontakt mit den Vermieterin war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sie haben sich stets sofort zurück gemeldet

Bewertungen sind naturgemäß immer individuell...wir haben uns in dem Ferienhaus sehr wohl gefühlt und unsere Hündin genauso. Es ist alles da, was man benötigt...eine wunderschöne Terrasse mit einem traumhaften Naturausblick, eine Sauna zum Entspannen, ein Gas-Kaminfeuer, wenn es mal etwas kühler ist, eine schöne Küche mit Ausblick in den großen Garten, das Schlafzimmer mit den großen schrägen Fenstern mit Blick auf den Naturpark...man müsste schon das Haar in der Suppe suchen, was uns in Deutschland ja immer gut gelingt. Dazu ist der Kontakt mit den Eheleuten Humburg immer sehr nett. Wir buchen auf alle Fälle wieder.
