Holiday destination
Makkum is located directly at the Ijsselmeer and with its promenade, it invites you to relax. Diverse comfortable cafés invite you to linger and relax. The boutiques offer abundant shopping possibilities. Extensive water sport activities (surfing, sailing, kite-sufing with relevant training and rental opportunities) offer numerous possibilities for leisure activities.
Furthermore, bicycles, "Kettcars", pedal boats and motor boats can be hired on site.
Getting there
Arrival from Osnabrück/Bremen as well as the direction of the Ruhr area: You need to take the A31 until Meppen. Then you change to the A37. After that you take the A32 to Heerenveen. From there you take the A7 to Sneek/Amsterdam until you reach the exit Makkum. At the fourth roundabout you go to the Villapark Makkumerstrand. It takes you 2h20min from Osnabrück.

Unsere Familie hatte eine wundarbare goldene Oktoberwoche hier in diesem Haus erleben dürfen. Kommunikation mit Familie Humburg, die Ausstatung , die Sauberkeit, das perfekte Wetter und natürlich die guten Betten und die Stille, Alles hat zu unserer Erholung beigetragen, auch die Sauna am Abend. Schon Morgens konnte man verschiedene Vögel und Sonnenaufgänge beobachten. Einfach herrlich! Wir haben in der Nähe Fahrräder ausgeliehen, so konnten unsere Jungs auch zwischendurch nach Makkum zu dem sehr gut sortierten Jumbo Supermarkt radeln oder den sehr leckeren Kibbeling am Hafen holen. Die wunderschöne Stadt Harlingen haben wir mehrmals besucht, genauso wie Nordhollands Strände und Städte. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
