You can book various ship tours from the Sellin Pier to the chalk coast and the neighbouring seaside resorts or a tour around the island from the nearby jetty. And the Baabe marina offers sailing trips. As of 2018, Sellin has its own harbour with ship excursions going to Lauterbach and other places.
Sellin is Rügen's "Pearl" and tourist magnet in the biosphere reserve Süd-Ost-Rügen. The town boasts gorgeous building in the typical style of the spa architecture. Various restaurants and shops can be found in the immediate vicinity.
Charming location: Directly at the 'Hochufer' hiking trail which borders on the Granitzer Forst with the lake Schwarzer See and the Granitz Hunting Lodge. The Pellin Pier has a jetty and restaurants.
The ideal starting point for swimming, cycling, hiking, jogging and water sports.
Autobahn A20, exit Stralsund, continue towards Rügen; on Rügen take the B96 towards Bergen, shortly before you reach Bergen, turn onto the B196 towards Binz/Göhren.
In Sellin, keep to the left/cross the train tracks and follow the main road, straight ahead (Auguste-Bebel-Str.) until you reach the "Uhlenweg"; at the parking lot in front of the spa administration you'll want to turn left.

- 60-35 days prior to arrival: 60% of the rental price;
- 34-21 days prior to arrival: 80% of the rental price;
- 20-14 days prior to arrival: 90% of the rental price;
- 13-0 days prior to arrival: the full rental price, which also applies if you have to cut your trip short. However, the lessor will try to re-let the rental property.
All utilities and 1 parking space are included in the booking price.

Spa tax is not included in the price and will be charged separately.
In the peak season (July/August), the minimum stay is 7 nights unless there are booking gaps.
