Thanks to its ideal location close to the beach and the dunes, De Verkenner (The Explorer) is an excellent base for beach and nature lovers. The surroundings are perfect for long walks, cycling tours and relaxed days by the sea.
The charming centre of Callantsoog is within a short walking distance and offers a variety of shops, cafés and restaurants. Nearby you will also find the protected nature reserve Het Zwanenwater, known for its diverse landscape of water, woodland and dunes.
De Verkenner (The Explorer) is also ideally located for day trips. Destinations such as Texel, Den Helder, Alkmaar, Hoorn, Schagen and Amsterdam are all easily accessible.
Getting there
The holiday bungalow is located in a very quiet, almost car-free street. For loading and unloading, the car can be briefly parked nearby. Free parking is available in the street and at the end of the street with ample parking spaces.

Liebe Familie Spijker, wir bedanken uns ganz herzlich, dass wir Ihre Unterkunft nutzen durften. Es war traumhaft, einfach perfekt. Ihr Ferienhaus entsprach genau den von Ihnen gemachten Angaben und wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Ausstattung beeinhaltete mehr als erwartet. Auch die Lage ist wunderbar, nah zu den Zugängen am Strand und den Geschäften und doch sehr ruhig. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und empfehlen Sie weiter.
Danke auch für das nette und unkomplizierte Miteinander.

Der neue Ferienbungalow ist der perfekte Platz,um sich Orts- und Strandnah zu erholen.Die Wohnung ist tatsächlich so schön und sinnvoll eingerichtet, wie es die Fotos versprechen - man kommt an und fühlt sich sofort wohl!Der Weg zum Strand über den nahen Strandaufgang dauert nur 5 Minuten, genauso lange braucht man, um in den Ortskern zu gelangen.
Der Vermieter ist sehr nett und wir werden wieder kommen! Eine absolute Empfehlung von uns für diese tolle Unterkunft!!!
