Cancellation policy
Villas Kalmar requires a 30% deposit to secure the booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before arrival or, where applicable, on the day of arrival. The exact payment deadline depends on the selected payment method.
In the event of a booking cancellation, all payments received up to the date of cancellation will be retained. The guest is not entitled to a refund unless travel cancellation insurance has been purchased during the booking process in cooperation with Allianz osiguranje d.d. The insurance premium amounts to 4.5% of the total accommodation cost.
In the event of a cancellation, the guest must submit any claim for reimbursement directly to the insurer in accordance with the applicable terms and conditions of Allianz osiguranje d.d. Upon request by the insurer, Villas Kalmar will provide all documentation required for processing the insurance claim.

Villa Oliva Tar is located in Tar, a well-positioned Istrian village between Porec and Novigrad, only 2 km from the sea. Tar is known for its relaxed local atmosphere, good taverns and restaurants, olive oil production and easy access to some of the most popular coastal areas in this part of Istria.
The nearest beaches are only a short drive from the villa. Guests can visit the Lanterna peninsula, one of the best-known seaside areas near Tar, with beaches, walking paths, sports facilities, beach bars and family-friendly summer activities. Along the Porec Riviera, there are many additional bathing spots, from arranged beaches with facilities to quieter coastal areas ideal for swimming and sunbathing.
Porec, one of the most attractive towns in Istria, is within easy reach and offers a wide range of cultural, gastronomic and entertainment options. Its historic old town, set on a small peninsula, is known for stone streets, lively squares, seaside promenades, restaurants, cafés and shops. The main landmark is the Euphrasian Basilica, a Unesco World Heritage Site and one of the finest examples of early Byzantine art in the Mediterranean. Porec is also a good choice for boat trips, water sports, summer events and evening visits.
Novigrad is another charming coastal town close to Tar, with a picturesque old town, marina, seaside restaurants and pleasant promenades. Guests can also explore nearby Vabriga, known for local restaurants and traditional Istrian atmosphere, or visit inland villages, wineries and olive oil producers for a more authentic taste of the region.
Families and active guests will find several popular attractions nearby. Aquapark Istralandia is a great option for a fun day out with children, while Aquacolors Porec offers another large water park experience in the wider area.
