Zaostrog has a really long history consedirng the archaeological findings like the relief of the God Mitra and writings by Byzantine emperor Konstantin Porfirogenet about the fortification Ostrog, situated highly below the mount after which Zaostrog later got its name. During the years, Zaostrog became a desirable vacation spot due to its geographic location, clean sea and beautiful pebble beaches. The most recognisable feature of Zaostrog is an old Franciscan monastery- also a museum with ethnological collection and a library.
Zaostrog is a preserved, littoral, almost untouched area which offers a quiet holiday far away from the burdening modern life- in other words it's an ideal location to explore Dalmatia as it once was.

Wir haben uns im Haus von Marta super wohl gefühlt. Sie hat uns ganz herzlich empfangen und der Check In war super unkompliziert. Der Pool wurde jeden Morgen gereinigt und das Haus war sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen.

Ein wunderschöner Urlaub mitten in der Natur in einem perfekt ausgestatteten Haus in idyllischer Lage. Schöner Swimmingpool mit täglicher Reinigung. Supermarkt mit einem tollen Angebot in 10 Minuten erreichbar.
Der Strand auch fussläufig und im Mai wenig besucht, sodass man auch mit Hund entspannt Urlaub machen konnte.
Besonders der prompte Service vor Ort 24/7 durch Mario und Herrn Ivica hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Das hatten wir noch in keinem Urlaub!
Danke nochmals für die hervorragende Unterkunft und den tollen Service.
